I used Gizmogo to sell an old phone I had sitting around, and the whole thing was fine, like not amazing but not bad either. I sent it in, waited, checked my email probably more than I needed to, and just kind of wondered what stage things were at.
The part that bugged me a little was the communication after they received the device. I had to reach out and ask what was going on and when to expect the next step, and to be fair they did reply, but sometimes the answers were a bit vague, like I still had to piece things together myself.

In the end, the payment came through and nothing major went wrong, so I can’t really complain too much. I just think they could make the updates clearer from the start so you’re not sitting there guessing. Decent service overall, just not quite as smooth as it could be...

I reached out to support about my issue, and they kept saying they’d look into it, but nothing ever actually got fixed. After a while, it really felt like I was just being ignored. Super frustrating and a total waste of my time.

"Phone condition issue messed up my plans"
I sent my old phone to gizmogo and then they came back saying it was in worse shape than what I selected. The offer dropped a bit, which was frustrating because I thought I described it fairly. I was counting on that original amount for some plans I had that weekend, so having it change last minute kind of threw everything off.
To be fair, support did respond and they sent pictures, so it didn’t feel like they were just making it up. But it still took a couple days of back and forth, and I ended up feeling like their grading was stricter than expected. Not the worst experience, but it definitely wasn’t as smooth as I hoped.

"Shipping was such a hassle!!"
Sending my phone in was way more annoying than I expected!! The shipping label instructions were kind of confusing, and dropping it off ended up taking forever. Definitely not the most convenient experience.

A few of the deals were decent, so I can’t say it was all bad. But some prices were higher than what I’ve seen elsewhere, which made me wonder if the “offers” were really offers at all.

gizmogo seemed fine at first, I guess, but I didn’t feel completely comfortable using it. Some of the info wasn’t super clear, so I ended up double-checking stuff on my own, which made me kind of... I don’t know. Maybe other people have no issues with it, but for me the trust just wasn’t fully there. I’d probably be careful before sending anything in

"They really don’t take as much as they make it seem"
I tried selling a few older devices most of them weren’t accepted, even though some were still in decent condition. I get that they can’t take everything, but the site definitely makes it sound like they accept a wider range than they actually do. I spent all that time looking up the models and checking details for nothing, so yeah, it was frustrating.

This wasn’t the best experience. The payment took way longer than I expected, and when I reached out for support, I didn’t get much help. What made it more annoying was how unclear the communication was, I kept feeling like I had to guess what was going on instead of getting a straight answer.

"Tracking was a headache"
I ordered this while I was already busy dealing with random errands that week, and the tracking made it way more annoying than it needed to be. It barely updated, so I kept checking my phone every so often, but it never really showed where the package was or what was happening. I ended up waiting around without a clear idea of when it would show up. I also reached out to support, but they didn’t really explain much or make me feel any less confused. Overall, not a great experience.

I was a little nervous about my data at first, but they did remind me to wipe the phone and remove my accounts before sending it in, which helped. The whole process was easy to follow. I just wish they’d send more updates after they receive it, because I don’t really like sitting around wondering what’s going on. Overall, it felt safe enough and I’d give it 4 stars.

The shipping label didn’t work the first time, and I ended up having to retry it twice. It was annoying having to sit there and wait around just to get something that should’ve been quick sorted out.

I ended up sending my item back, and the return process was more of a hassle than I expected. It moved slowly, and I had to check in a couple times before I got a clear update. Customer service did respond, so I’ll give them that, but I still felt like I was just waiting around not knowing what was happening. For the price, I expected the whole thing to be a bit smoother. Not a terrible experience, just not great either.
